1928 Bygd som hvalbåt SULLA av Smith’s Dock Co. for South Georgia Co. Ld. (Chr. Salvesen & Co., Leith Scotland som disponenter.)
Fanget sin første sesong 1928/29 for Fl/k SEVILLA

I 1928 og ’29 lot Salvesen bygge hele 13 hvalbåter av samme type ved Smith’s Dock Co. Ltd., Middlesbrough. Disse var STINA og SULLA (1928). I 1929: SEVRA, SHERA, STEFA, SVEGA, SHUSA, SLUGA, SUKHA,SUMBA, SHIKA(1), SILJA og SIRRA.
Som et apropos om disse datidens hurtigste og beste hvalbåter kan nevnes at Anders Jahre var så imponert at han ringte til verftet og bestilte syv hvalbåter, ”… the same as Salvesen”. (Se Lardex KOS I – VII)

1929 I fangst for Fl/k SOURABAYA fra 1929/30 til 1932/33
1934 I fangst for Fl/k NEW SEVILLA sesongene 1934/35 og 1935/36
1936 Fanget for Fl/k STROMBUS 1936/37 sesongen.
1937 Overført til Arktisk fangst, (ingen detaljer).
1940 Rekvirert av Royal Navy i mars.
1942 Overført til den sovjetiske marinen i februar.
24. mars Senket i krigshandlinger av tysk krigsskip i Barents- havet på vei til Nord Russland.

History in English:

1928 Built as whale catcher SULLA by Smith’s Dock Co. for South Georgia Co. Ld. (Chr. Salvesen & Co., Leith Scotland as managers). In her debut season 1928/29 catching for Fl/F SEVILLA.

In 1928 and ’29 Smith’s Dock of Middlesbrough delivered no less than 13 identical whale catchers to Salvesen. 1928: STINA and SULLA. 1929: SEVRA, SHERA, STEFA, SVEGA, SHUSA, SLUGA, SUKHA, SUMBA, SHIKA (1), SILJA and SIRRA.
Tycoon Anders Jahre of Sandefjord was so impressed of this modern catcher-type that he rang Smith’s Dock and ordered seven catchers, “… the same as Salvesen”. (Ref. Lardex KOS I-VII)
