1939 Bestilt og bygget som hvalbåt KOS 26 ved Smith's Dock Co Ld, South Bank-on-Tees, Middlesbrough for A/S Kosmos (A. Jahre), Sandefjord. Kjølen lagt 20/5-1939. Sjøsatt 5/7-1939. Rekvirert av Royal Navy etter sjøsetting. Kommisjonert av Royal Navy 20/10-1939. Omdøpt HMS THIRLMERE. Klassifisert av RN som MS Trawler Lake Class.
1946 Solgt til A/S Kosmos II (Anders Jahre), Sandefjord og navngitt som KOS 26. Gikk inn som fangstbåt for KOSMOS IV ekspedisjonen sesongen 1946/47 med Anders Ellefsen som skytter.
1948 Sendt til isen som en del av KOSMOS III-ekspedisjonen i sesongen 1948/49.
1949 Tilbake på KOSMOS IV ekspedisjonen sesongen 1949/50 som fangstbåt. Opererte som fangstbåt frem til slutten av sesongen 1951/52.
1952 Tjenestegjør som bøyebåt for KOSMOS IV i sesongen 1952/53 og frem til slutten av sesongen 1958/59. Om sommeren satt i fangst fra landstasjonen Cap Lopez, Fransk Kongo i tiden 28/6 til 12/9-1959, deretter opplag.
1963 Solgt til Christiania Spigerverk for hugging ved Norsk Skibsopphugging, Grimstad.

History in English:

1939 Ordered and built as whale catcher KOS 26 at Smith's Dock Co Ld, South Bank-on-Tees, Middlesbrough by A/S Kosmos II (A. Jahre), Sandefjord. Keel laid 20/5-1939. Launched 5/7-1939. Requested by the Royal Navy (RN). Commisioned by Royal Navy 20/10-1939. Renamed HMS THIRLMERE (FY 206). Classified as a MS Trawler Lake Class.
1946 Sold to A/S Kosmos II (Anders Jahre), Sandefjord and renamed KOS 26. Included as catcher for the KOSMOS IV expedition the season of 1946/47 with Mr. Anders Ellefsen as gunner.
1948 Went to the ice as a part of the KOSMOS III-expedition in season 1948/49.
1949 Returned to the KOSMOS IV expedition the season 1949/50 as catcher. Was operated as catcher for this factory until the end of the season 1951/52.
1952 Started serving as a buoy boat for KOSMOS IV in the season of 1952/53 and until the end of season 1958/59. Her last service was as catcher for the shore station Cap Lopez, French Congo between 28/6 to 12/9-1959, then lay-up.
1963 Sold to Christiania Spigerverk for breaking at Norsk Skibsopphugging, Grimstad.
