1939 Flåtens fangst resultat ble bare 69.300 fat hvalolje og 1.400 fat spermolje sesongen 1938/39. Hvalbåtene ankom Sandefjord i tiden 22-24/04. Forhalt til verkstedet 09/06. Gikk i tørrdokk fra 09/06 til 16/06. Tilbake på verkstedet for tørrdokking fra 01/09 til 04/09.

1940 Gikk fra Montevideo med kurs for syd Georgia 11/11.
1941 Anholdt av hjelpekrysseren PINGUIN under fangst i Sydishavet 14/01.
Bordet av tysk prisemannskap og kursen satt for havn i Europa sammen med flere andre hvalbåter og kokerier. Bragt til skipsverft i Europa og ombygget til ubåtjager med kjennetegn UJ 1217.
1942 Satt i tjeneste som UJ-1217 fra 20/04.
1943 Torpedert og senket av russisk ubåt M-107 ved Syltefjord på kysten av Nord Norge 11/09-1943 (en annen kilde sier: kolliderte og sank i Østersjøen utenfor Finland 14/03-1943)
Fremdrift: 1 x stempel dampmaskin (steam reciprocating), type trippel ekspansjon, 3-sylindret, syl. diam.: 14,8"-26"-44", slag/stroke: 26", 1.400 IHK. Bygget ved Moss Værft, Moss
1936 Built as a whale catcher STAR XXII at Moss Værft & Dokk, Moss to Hvalfanger A / S Rosshavet (Johan Rasmussen & Magnus Konow), Sandefjord. Delivered 14/10-1936. Arrived at Framnæs mek. Værksted 15/10 for storing equipment for whaling purposes. Left the yard with course for Southern Seas 16/10.

Shifted to Framnæs mek. Værksted from 02/06 and left on 23/07. In dry dock from 25/06 to 30/06. To the yard again 26/09 for dry dock until 27/09. To the yard again from 09/06 to 16/06 and from 01/09 to 04/09.
Catching for SIR JAMES CLARK ROSS season 1938/39. The whale catchers were STAR XIV, STAR XIX, STAR XX, STAR XXI, STAR XXII, STAR XXIII, STAR XXIV and STAR XVIII
1939 The catch results of the whole expedition was only 69.300 barrels of whale oil and 1.400 barrels of sperm oil season 1938/39. The whaling catchers arrived at Sandefjord in the period 22-24/04. Shifted to the yard 09/06. Went in dry dock from 09/06 to 16/06. Back to the yard for dry docking from 01/09 to 04/09.

1940 Went from Montevideo with a course for South Georgia 11/11.
1941 Inaugurated by auxiliary cruiser PINGUIN during whaling in the Southern Seas 14/01.
A group of German prize crew entered, and the course set for port in Europe together with several other catchers and factories taken. Went to a shipyard in Europe and converted to submarine hunter with characteristics UJ 1217.
1942 Set in service as UJ-1217 from 20/04.
1943 Torpedoed and sunk by Russian submarine M-107 at Syltefjord on the coast of northern Norway 11/09-1943 (another source says: collided and sank in the Baltic Sea outside Finland 14/03-1943?)
