Selskaper ble etablert 24/10-1910.
Selskapet hadde lisens for ett flytende kokeri og tre hvalbåter til fangst ved Syd Shetland og Grahamsland. I tillegg hadde selskapet lisens for ett flytende kokeri og to hvalbåter med enerett til å bruke landstasjon i Deception Bay, Syd Shetland. Denne konsesjonen hadde en varighet for 21 år.
1912 Overført til A/S Hektor (N. Bugge), Tønsberg.
1913 Dette året hadde selskapet fem hvalbåter og to kokerier, samt en landstasjon i Deception.
1914 A/S Hektor overtar A/S Hvalen med en flåte på et kokeri (HVALEN) og tre fangstbåter.
1916 A/S Hektor innstiller fangsten for sesongen 1916/17
1924 Kuttet over egen ankerkjetting, kantret og sank i South Bay, Livingstone Island, Syd-Shetland Islands 11/03. 4 mann omkom.

The company had a license for one floating factory and 3 whale catchers to catch off Southern Shetland and Grahams land. In addition, the company had a license for one floating whaling factory and 2 whale catchers with the exclusive right to use the land station in Deception Bay, South Shetland. This license had a duration of 21 years.
1912 Transferred to A/S Hektor (N. Bugge), Tønsberg.
1913 This year the company had 5 whale catchers and 2 factories, as well as a shore station at Deception Islands.
1914 A/S Hektor takes over A/S Hvalen with a fleet of a factory (HVALEN) and three catchers.
1916 A/S Hektor did not catch for the 1916/17 season
1924 Anchor chain broken, capsized and sank in South Bay, Livingstone Island, South Shetland Islands 11/03. 4 men died.
