Tilbake til søk1930 Bygget som hvalbåt BOUVET 2 (I) ved Smith’s Dock Co. Ltd., Middlesbrough for regning av Hvalfangstselskapet A/S Sevilla (Waalman & Bugge), Tønsberg. Sjøsatt 12/08-1930. Overlevert i august.
I sesongene 1930/31 og 1931/32 i fangst for Fl/k NEW SEVILLA, A/S Sevilla, Tønsberg.
1932 Solgt til Salvesen i august. Salvesen ervervet da hele A/S Sevilla, inkl. kokeriet, samt hvalbåtene BOUVET 1 til 4.
Sesongene 1932/33 til og med 1935/36 i fangst for Fl/k NEW SEVILLA.
1936 Sommeren 1936 på spermhvalfangst ved Peru. Sesongen 1936/7 I fangst for Fl/k SOURABAYA
1937 Sesongen 1937/38 i fangst for Fl/k NEW SEVILLA
1938 Sesongen 1938/9 til 1939/40 I fangst for Fl/k SALVESTRIA.
1940 Rekvirert i mars av Royal Navy for krigstjeneste som HMS BOUVET 2 (FY-1695).
1945 Sesongen 1945/6 i fangst for Fl/k EMPIRE VICTORY ekspedisjonen.
1946 Tilbakelevert eier i april.
1947 Solgt i juni til Cia. Industrial, Valparaiso Chile. Omdøpt INDUS 8. I tiden 1947 til 1954 i fangst på Chile kysten.
1954 Grunnstøtte på et skjær 15/11-1954 og sank 50 miles utenfor Valparaiso.
1930 Built as Whale catcher BOUVET 2 (I) by Smith’s Dock Co. Ltd., Middlesbrough for account of whaling company A/S Sevilla, (Waalman & Bugge), Tønsberg. Launched on 12/08-1930 and delivered in August.
For the season 1930/31 to end of 1931/32, catching for A/S Sevilla’s floating factory Fl/F NEW SEVILLA.
1932 Purchased by Salvesen in August, (as well as the company itself, including the factory ship and four catchers BOUVET 1 – 4).
Season of 1932/33 to 1935/36, catching for Fl/F NEW SEVILLA
1936 Season of 1936/7, catching for Fl/F SOURABAYA.
1937 Season of 1937/38, catching for Fl/F NEW SEVILLA.
1938 Season of 1938/39 to 1939/40, catching for Fl/F SALVESTRIA.
1940 Requisitioned by Royal Navy (RN) in March as HMS BOUVET 2 (FY-1695).
1945 Season of 1945/46, catching for the Fl/F EMPIRE VICTORY expedition.
1946 Returned to the owner in April.
1947 Sold to Cia. Industrial, Valparaiso Chile in June. Renamed INDUS 8. In the time window 1947 to 1954, whaling off Chile.
1954 Wrecked on 15/11-1954. Wrecked and sunk after hitting a rock 50 miles off Valparaiso.
