Tilbake til søk1882 Bygget som hvalbåt HVALEN ved Akers mek. Verksted, Kristiania (Oslo) for A/S Verdande (Albert Grøn, Sandefjord), Færøyene.
1899 Innkjøpt fra det færøyske selskap Verdande sammen med hvalbåtene DIMON og KOLTER. Omdøpt HVALEN. Thor Dahl søkte om lisens for fangst i området rundt Vest-Grønland men fikk avslag.
1903 Fanger på Sydøstkysten av Norge. Resutatet ble 25 bottlenose.
1904 Fanger i samme området, og fangsten ble 17 bottlenose hval.
1905 Fangsten i sesongen 1905 ble 12 bottlenose hval.
1906 Denne sesongen ble det 9 hval. Et stadig sviktende resultat.
1907 Ikke avmeldt noe fangst
1882 Built as whale catcher KVALEN by Akers mek. Verksted, Kristiania (Oslo) for A/S Verdande (Albert Grøn, Sandefjord), Faroe Islands.
1899 Purchased by Thor Dahl, Sandefjord together with the catcher DIMON and KOLTER. Renamed HVALEN. Thor Dahl applied for whale hunting license for the West-Greenland area but refused.
1903 Catching at the Southeast coast of Norway. The result was 25 off bottlenose whales.
1904 Catching in the same area, and the catch was 17 off bottlenose whale.
1905 The season of 1905 the catch was 12 off bottlenose whale.
1906 This season the result was 9 whale. A steadily declining result.
1907 Not in operation this season.
