Satt inn i linjen mellom Canada og Afrika. Kjent som Christensen Canadian South African Line etablert i 1948.
1949 Sjøsatt 17/12-1948. Fru Tora Holden var gudmor. Overlevert til rederiet 13/04-1949 som den andre i denne serien.
1953 Linje navnet Christensen Canadian South African Line etablert i 1948 bytter navnet til Christensen Canadian African Line (CCAL) 15/05.
1955 THORSTRAND settes inn på linjen Norse Oriental Line (NOL) i januar. En samseiling med Brusgaard og Kiøsterud i Drammen.
1961 Solgt til Poseidon Schiffahrt G.m.b.H., Hamburg, Vest-Tyskland 18/09-1961 og omdøpt TRANSEUROPA
1969 Solgt til Floritaram Cia. Naviera S.A. (Demetrios G. Ventouris), Piraeus, Hellas og omdøpt til MS FLORITA.
1978 Ankom Karachi, Pakistan 03/05 for hugging. Hugging påbegynt på Gadani Beach samme måned.
Man kan vel trygt si at disse fartøyene var en del av årsaken til begeistringen blant sjøfolk til å søke hyre på rederiet Thor Dahl’s fartøyer i den tiden. Spesielt ruten på Stillehavet var populær, hvor folk stod om bord både ti og tolv år før de mønstret av!

1949 Launched 17/12-1948 and delivered to the owner 13/04-1949 as the second ship in the serie from this yard.
Put into the line between Canada and Africa. Known as the Christensen Canadian South African Line established in 1948.
1953 The shipping line Christensen Canadian South African Line established 1948 change name 15/05 to Christensen Canadian African Line (CCAL).
1955 THORSTRAND engaged as a part of the Norse Oriental Line (NOL) line in January. A joint venture with Brusgaard and Kiøsterud in Drammen.
1961 Sold to Poseidon Schiffahrt G.m.b.H., Hamburg, West-Germany 18/09-1961, renamed TRANSEUROPA
1969 Sold to Floritaram Cia. Naviera S.A. (Demetrios G. Ventouris), Piraeus, Greece and renamed MV FLORITA.
1978 FLORITA arrived 03/05 Karachi, Pakistan for breaking. Breaking commenced at Gadani Beach the same month.
It's obvious that these vessels and trades of the Pacific Islands was an attractive trade to the seaman in the fifties was one of the reasons for the popularity of having job with the Thor Dahl company at that time. People stayed onboard for ten and upto twelve years before pay-off!
